In short, one of the reasons why i work with sound or music is the fact that i have tinnitus. This has had the effect that my ears are supersensitive to all kinds of sounds and has given me a need to control my (sound)enviroment. That's why i'm obsessed by working with sound. Nowadays i work solely with a computer to realize my ideas. I collect sounds by going out with a microphone making fieldrecordings or record tiny sounds/noises with contact-microphones that i find in my surroundings and then i process/edit/compose them on the harddrive. I like to work rather fast and intuitive but composition is one of the most important things for me so i spend most of my time composing the sounds into something that sounds interesting to me.

helium1 and helium2 are works in progress that are here presented in the state they were in during july 2001.
