Drum Bondage II can best be described as a heated dialog between a funky drumset and sounds from psycho Disneyland. A special designed set of accelerometers are strapped to the drummers wrists and ankels. This transforms the body movements into controlling information for selected sample materials. Andy Nathan is an L.A. based musician, sound designer and DJ, trained in the art of improvisation and live electronics. This piece is a recording from a live performance at the Gallery Seefrau in Den Haag, Netherlands. It is a result of the collaboration between programmer Jeff Ridenour , technical designer Lex van de Broek, drummer Jacob Thein and composer Andy Nathan.
