BallongMagasinet is an artist-initiated sound project based in Oslo, Norway. It all began in 1996 with a weekly radio program, broadcast on the local station, RadiOrakel. From 1999 – 2002 ballongmagasinet.com appeared as a sound gallery on the net, where we featured nordic and international artists.

The policy was to present a wide range of sound material — historical and contemporary, international and local; catchy, narrative, noisy, playful, etc. — with contributions from artists, composers, musicians and others.
